I'm in the production at my school at the moment. We're doing The Return to the Forbidden Planet, which the teacher in charge describes as "The Tempest in space with an 80's rock'n'roll twist" which sounds awesome, but is really hard work!

I'm only in the chorus (they don't give main parts to year 8's) but it's so much work. We have rehearsals at weekends and afterschool and pretty much anytime miss can squeeze in.

Also, it's a musical full of fast-paced songs which means fast-paced dancing, which is not something I'm good at!

But don't get me wrong, I love being in the production, it's great fun and I met loads of new people. I'm looking foward to the shows, which are all next week and hopefully I won't fall of the stage :D

I don't really know what to say in a blog so I guess this is...

...Hi!

I joined the site a few days ago and have uploaded a few projects, I have had some really lovely comments and it may sound a bit twee but it makes me really happy each time I get a new comment! I check back in the mornings, evenings and when uploading a new project.

I have made a few friends already, which is really nice as most people on here are a lot older than me, so I didn't really know what to expect. I love that people take my work seriously and don't automatically assume my cards are made with little foam things from the kids stuff (which personally I think is a bit naff).

I am only a beginner and have lot to learn, but hopefully you will all help me improve to the standard of some of the older people on here!

...So that was my first blog, I hope you liked it and will check out some of my projects :D

I'm 14 and love craft!

I've been making cards for a while and recently got into scrapbooking as I love the cards I make and hate giving them away!

I go to local demonstrations with my mum, and some of the people there persuaded me to post my cards online :D

I am always open to new ideas, so any you have to offer would be appreciated, as it will help me improve to a higher standard. :D

Interests

Crafting, especially card making. I love drama especially singing and dancing (although I'm no good at either). I love spending time with my friends and family. And most of all I love seeing others happy!
