About me

I am a proud mum to a 12 year old daughter-Frances and proud auntie to my niece Tara who is nearly 15.
Life has a funny way of turning out, after being a healthy able bodied person, at the age of 11 I was paralysed from the waist down by a very rare condition.After numerous problems, ops and infections I had to have an above right knee amputation back in 2006. It was a specialist back in 1995 that said that I had to find a hobby to keep me out of mischief! A friend introduced me to cross stitch and the rest as we say is history!! I am mainly a scrapbooker, but have been doing more and more cardmaking and enjoy having a go at new techniques. What I particularly love about papercraft is that it helps with pain relief and I can easily transport it into hospital if I have to have an op. (This is much to my brother's disgust as he has to carry it all!!!).
I just want to say a big thank you to everyone that stops by and takes a peak at my work, its a great Docrafts community. Debxx
