About me

I'm addicted to cardmaking, having got started in January 2006. I started with everything in a large plastic box, then a chest of drawers, and now I have taken over my son's  former bedroom!
 I particularly love beautiful papers, flowers, ribbons and brads. I find it really relaxing after a hectic day, to just sit down and create a card. This website has been a huge help to me.
Through it I started up Docraft dieters in August 2007. We currently have 18 members, and support one another in our quest to lose weight.
I've been married for 32years and have a son Rob, who is 27 and studying for a PhD
Very sadly, my daughter Rachel died on August 12th 2009 at the age of 20 from SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy.
All my cardmaking sales are now in aid of the charity Epilepsy Bereaved in the hope of reducing the number of young people who die in this way.
It has made me value the importance of living every day to the full

Interests

I love playing music and going to concerts, travelling to new places, cardmaking (of course) and chatting on Docrafts website. I also enjoy doing Sudoku puzzles.
