About me

Updating 'about me'. Born in Edinburgh in 1956, moved to St Helens in'67 and still live here. Married to Andy for 32 years and have 2 grown up daughters living in London and Nottingham. Frankly, I adore them. Both my daughters became engaged in 2010 and now the youngest is getting married in New York in May 2011 and the oldest is marrying here in August 2012. Mucho excitement I can tell you!
I would like to thank everyone for taking a look at my work and for any comments - I appreciate them all.

Interests

Dolls House miniatures, glass painting, embroidery, cardmaking, reading and puzzles (on my DS) I collect loads of different things; playing cards, anything with thistles or owls or bees on it, Kokeshi dolls and Shorter pottery to name a few. I have been tinkering with my avatar again and liked this pic of a Victorian girl - she looks nothing like me!
