Well, this is tidy looking for me! Trying to organise myself to get ready to start making some more cards and little gifts.  Cutting out dresses, using the templates I have made, to stick on some dummies and cut some card blanks so I can start to get on first thing tomorrow.  Went out to lunch for my sister's birthday, still full up lol, so not a lot done in the shed today, but it's a new day tomorrow! OK, so it's raining. Again. But hey, I saw Bambi this morning. Luckily Lottie didn't! Photo isn't very good (and use a magnifying glass!!) but I'm happy! The other photo was taken yesterday, when the sun was out!

So, what's on today at In the Craft Shed?  After a busy couple of days I will be down in the shed later looking at what I need to make up and will hopefully start to get on with it.  Good times!

May markets!

Well, this weekend was very enjoyable!  Two very good markets and a BBQ yesterday afternoon. In the sun!!  So, from bucketing rain on Friday to beautiful weather for the weekend, all in all, very good! The two  markets were very successful for all who went and we met some very nice people. Will be going down to the shed shortly to have a look at what I have sold and what I need to start  making  more of.  Soooooooo looking forward to that! x

Well, another week, another Wednesday!  Two craft fairs to prepare for this weekend, so I am busy making more cards to make up for the ones I sold last Saturday.  We had a slight incident earlier in the week when my dog Lottie broke the lid of the plastic box she is lying on and fell into my stash of paper! Mustn't laugh! Didn't seem to bother her, she was straight back on after I sorted it!

Glitter and gilding!

Been down the shed, it was bleeping cold! Got a new alphabet die and I have been playing with it and glitter and gilding flakes.  It got a bit messy!

In the Craft Shed

Well, been busy since my last entry!  Given myself a name (In the Craft Shed) and set up my own webpage (page being the word!) at www.inthecraftshed.co.uk and also a Facebook page and Twitter account (In the Craft Shed).  I've been on that computer tapping away and also finding time to make some more things, even though it's been soooooooooo cold!! Please can we have some warm weather now!

New beginnings?

Not done a blog for AGES now, but recently joined Pinterset, what a fab website that is. So, it's sort of got me back into my blog again even though I'm sure I'm the only one who reads it haha!

Was made redundant so have spent quite a bit of time down shed trying to think of some new things to do.

Have been making some matchbook folders but with paper in and also some memo pads.  I made the boxes and put some paper inside.  I will take some photos of my news things and put them on the blog.

My first blog!

This is my very first blog, so please bear with me.  I love making cards and can lose hours working in my shed at the bottom of the garden.  I tend to spend more time fiddling with things and moving stuff around than actually making cards!  Well, here are three of my recent attempts; I hope you like them.
