I was having soo much fun with my daisytrail CD until my aunt took a turn for the worse. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer two years ago, last December we found out that she had secondary tumors in her lungs and brain. Now she is in a hospice and my mother and I spend 4 hours each day travelling across London to see her. today she was asleep the whole visit. I have been trying to design and make inspirational cards for her 4 children, really difficult will post my attempts tomorrow

I am going to be better this year

spent almost an hour designing what I thought was going to be 250 free business cards. Why can't I learn that nothing is for free! got to the end when I found out that I would have to pay postage.

I did not make any new years resolutions, but have just decided that I need a good shake up. I am far too settled and have become a boring old fart when I intended to grow old disgracefully - where did I go wrong??

I have a craft room that is so full of stuff there is no room for me to get into it never mind craft in it, I have not seen my pc for over a year. I intend to declutter (HA) and get more organised. well perhaps after I have had some fun with Tulip & friends and the Woodland folk CD roms. I like the work of Andrea Jane Evans she is a great illustrator and British.

I know what you mean about your craft room! I have spread out into 2 rooms now! I meet with friends every Tues evening to craft, usually taking some project or other to do. Mostly I never have time to finish it, bring it home and forget about it! So many bags, boxes etc with half finished cards - I really must make more of an effort! Happy cvrafting!

have made a mess with my last 2 attempts at blogging, really cannot concentrate when distracted by my husband. we have been together for nearly 36 years, the caribbean cruise was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and it was SUPER. admittedly, we are both still a bit jetlagged, but I feel mean wanting to go off and make cards by myself. He has no interest in my crafting at all and over the years I have tried many! He was mildly interested when I was a winemaker, and enjoyed my rice wine, but complained about the space it took up.

I really am ungrateful, but I soooooooooo want to be crafting

All crafts. I am obsessed with papercrafts, and also have a passion for cross stitch, crochet and crewel embroidery. i have passing fancies to become a great knitter, but I cannot follow a knitting pattern. On the other hand dress patterns hold no fear and I happily make clothes for posh occasions. I can make a mean fruit cake and have some sugarcraft skills
