About me

A Dogs Life is an non-profit group whose volunteers work hard to give pound dogs the chance of a better life. We rescue stray and surrendered dogs that are not reclaimed or rehomed from Dunboyne Pound which is the pound for South Dublin County Council and also as of 1st Jan 2010 Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown Council.

We are heavily dependent on volunteers who go to the pound a couple of times a week to take pictures of the dogs and find out a bit about their personalities and temperament. We are also dependent on volunteers for transport to get the dogs out of the pound and to the safety of rescues, foster homes and kennels.

We sell handmade cards, t-shirts and calendars to raise money as well as taking part in local stalls and markets
