Events
What are docrafts events? Docrafts events take place in-store throughout the UK on dates specific to individual stores (look out for poster in store or, if you are a member of docrafts, you will receive an email to let you know about events taking place in your area), and are designed to give you inspiration, techniques and top tips. The events take place between 10am and 4pm. The docrafts designers are fully trained in their craft and so can offer you creative and technical advice. Current demonstrations (April 2010) cover jewellery making, card making, scrapbooking and stamping and inks. See you local stockiest for details.
Finding your nearest event Visit the STOCKISTS section of the site and search under the events box using your postcode. To see more information about an event, click the ‘Full event details’ links. This is kept updated at all times so keep checking it! If you are a docrafts member, we will email you when there is an event in your area.
Can we have a docrafts event at our craft evening? We are only able to organise demonstrations at stores which subscribe to and supply a certain range of products. The only way to work around this would be if a recommended 'do crafts' store (as listed on the website under the 'stockists' link) was able to support your organisation and sponser the 'do crafts' event. You would need to contact your local stockist to ask if they would be prepared to do this, terms and conditions do apply.
No docrafts event in your area We only organise 'do crafts' demonstrations at stores which sell a particular range of products. The demonstration are organised by the 'do crafts' team once a request from a store is received. If you have a stockist in your area you may want to let them know that there is a demand for demonstrations as they may not realise the interest. If they then get in contact with Rebecca Rattue via the contact us form and we can discuss and organise a 'do crafts' demonstration for them!
How do I become a docrafts demonstrator? To become a ‘do crafts’ demonstrator we do advice that you have a sound interest in crafts and also good people skills. We would ask that you to attend a 2 day training course here at Verwood in Dorset, will cover the products you would be demoing in the stores that are local to you If you would like further information on becoming a 'do crafts' designer please contact us. Thank you for your interest.
