This month we are sponsored by the wonderful My Mums Craft Shop. Who are giving a £10 voucher to the one lucky winner.
Also our lovely Natali is giving a wonderful prize package from Iva Nova Chest  to another winner.

I love using Kraft on my cards, especially Christmas cards and I think it looks fabulous with red so I used one of my favourite robin images which is digi stamp from Delicious Doodles.
After much shuffling of different patterned papers I decided to leave the background a neutral colour. If I had thought about this from the start it would have saved me a lot of time!

Rebecca Pretty in Pink - My Crafty Heart GDT card

Posted on: Monday, 15 April 2013
Good Morning to you all my lovely crafty friends.

I hope you all had a good weekend.  My children have gone back to school and college today. Already, the house seems too quiet, I really don't like it, so I will be keeping myself busy. I have lots of housework to catch up on first.

I am here today to show you a card that I made using some gorgeous goodies from My Crafty Heart.

I had so much fun making this girlie card. The pretty image is Rebecca from Saturated Canary. I often seem to give these girls brown eyes, I think it may be because my eldest daughter has the most beautiful deep brown eyes I have ever seen.
The totally yummy papers are Isabella from Bo Bunny. Oh my goodness, they are soooo pretty.
I added some pearls to the centres of the delicate  mesh flowers and used a matching butterfly. The gorgeous white flowers are by Prima

Close up to show those pretty flowers

A Gem of a Challenge - Katie's Sketch

Posted on: Saturday, 13 April 2013
Good Morning to you all my lovely crafty friends and Happy Saturday!
Gosh, that was a quick week! In fact the last two weeks have flown by too fast and unfortunately my children go back to school on Monday.

Anyway, today is the start of a new A Gem of a Challenge .
This week the lovely Katie has designed a wonderful sketch for you to follow

The prize for the winner will be.....
2 Individual Digi images of the winners choice from PINK GEM DESIGNS (Subject to Availability).

My cute image, papers and fabulous sentiment are all from Pink Gem Designs, I have listed all the links underneath my card.
I used the pre-coloured version of the image, adding some detailing with pencils and a cloudy sky with distress inks. The papers come in a choice of 20 different colours so it was easy for me to match them to the little birds. I added the sentiment to the paper before printing.
I had great fun scrunching up tissue paper to make the blossom!!

Here is Katie's fabulous sketch

Image -Birdies in a Row from Pink Gem Designs
Sentiment - Whimsical Sentiments from Pink Gem Designs
Papers - Micro Dots Digi Papers from Pink Gem Designs
