Bare Basics Gift Wrap

Here are a couple of great ways to show someone how special they are by creating fun ways of wrapping their gift! The joy of giving is even better when your gift looks amazing and you can show off your impressive creative skills!

Wooden Hearts & Pom Poms Gift Wrap

1. Begin by wrapping your gift in brown paper. To make the wrapping easy, especially if your gift is an awkward shape, pop it into a box first. Once wrapped, set aside.

2. Using an Xcut Small Circle Palm Punch, punch out a colourful mix of confetti from a range of coloured card.

3. We chose three different coloured twines, and wrapped these around the middle of the box alongside each other. Secure these with a knot and if there is extra twine from the knot, cut these off as close to the knot as possible.

4. Now to decorate the box with the confetti! Using a Stick It! Sticky Glue Pen glue each piece of confetti and press down onto the brown paper. This is a fun make so don’t worry about them being perfectly placed, just make sure the box is covered.

5. Our box only needed three Bare Basics Wooden Hearts but add as many as you need. We used a couple of Stick It! 3D Foam Dots on each of the hearts to secure into place. Position the hearts onto the lengths of twine.

Personalised Gift Wrap

1. Once again we used brown paper to wrap our box. Choose a mix of three ribbons and wrap these around your box allowing room to spell out a name. Secure each ribbon with a knot and, if needed, a piece of tape. Create a bow from one of the ribbons and glue down on top of the other ribbons.

2. From the Bare Basics Wooden Letters, spell out the name of the recipient. Choose a mix of three or four Artiste Acrylic Paints. We used a few different tones of pink Carefully paint each letter and allow to dry. We added little dots to a couple of the letters to match one of the ribbons.

3. Once dry, glue each letter, place them down and secure with a bit of pressure.
