I have had a lovely crafty day downstairs with the whole living room overflowing with materials for my big project, a 12 x 12 album for my dear husband, for 26 years.
Andy will be 50 in a couple of weeks and on the 18th, all my family are gathering from the whole country for a family meal, the following week all his side of the family will do another family meal and I'd like as many pages as possible finished by 18th, but the rest will have to be for part of his Christmas present, as there are so many years to document. I can only start when we met as he has no photos of his first 21 years.
I have uploaded the first 4 pages.
The first, 'Where it all began' shows Andy, with his mum, at the hotel where we met in 1982. They were guests, I was working there for the summer. the 12 x 12 is a PM swirl cardstock (from the PM goodybag May/June 2008)
the 2nd page - aqua and chocolate colour scheme, is my 3 favourite photos of 1983 - us on my 18th birthday; with friends (at the hotel where we met, where he proposed to me) & Andy relaxing on a sunny day. the 12 x 12 is a floral Provo cardstock.
the 3rd page - same colour scheme (with a touch of pink added) is our engagement party, Christmas Eve 1983.The mottos are from Making memories.
the 4th page is our wedding day, his 24th birthday. the 12 x 12 is PM gold foiled cardstock, and I've added lots of heart gems and some red adhesive pearls, and more MM mottos.
I'm not sure how many pages I'll get finished for next Saturday, but theres nothing like a tight deadline to get me moving!
Now I need to clear up before he gets home!! do hope you can pop over to my gallery to see what I've made today, thanks Fi x
