A question to all you Ladies who have been swapping decorated tags with each other for the last few months.
Can you tell a Newbie to this Tag-Swap lark.....What do you do with the ones you receive?
Thanks
Margaret. Buntyfly

Margaret, I think its entirely up to you what size of tag you make and if you decorate both sides. When I was doing Tinks top 5 challenges I made a template, its 3 inches wide and 5.5 inches high, but the sparkly tag I made for Carol for the September swap much quite a bit smaller, more like 1.25 inches x 3 inches. I tend to write who the tag is for, date etc like an ATC back, but do add some decoration too. i don't have my craft room yet, but will very soon be displaying all my received tags properly. At the moment they are in a tag book joined together by an opening ring (don't know the proper name). It is so lovely to have these little works of art from scrapbook friends, hugs, Fi x

My tags are 3in x 5 1/2 in. I tend not to deco the reverse, but put info similar to an ATC. Name of the tag, my name and date.

My latest tags are about 3.5" by 6.5". I have got the one from Lesley on my fridge and eventually I will put all the tags I have received over time onto a ring, but I like the noticeboard idea. I don't tend to decorate the back, but write on the back, something like 'To Lesley, A sparkly tag for you. Love from Sue Cx'
I wasn't very happy with the one I sent Lesley, so I have made her another one today now my mojo is coming back, and it will be winging it's way to her next week.
There are no rules - just have some creative fun x

Thanks Ladies.
If I continue with the swap, I think I would like to eventually make a Tag Book with them all & write something relevant to each tag on the back of it. Buntyfly

Hi Margaret! Ive only taken part in the sparkly swap so far...must get involved more! I have a wooden box that I inked up and decorated, and I have a lot of the beautiful cards and tags that you lovely ladies have made in there. It sits by me in the emporium as a source of delight and inspiration! I love your idea of making a tag book with them though, that would be a nice treasure!
I made rather a large tag...just to be awkward lol...and I did a bit of decorating on the back. I will have to find it on the pc and upload it here, its on my blog I think.
