I get notification of demos at the range in rochdale but it seems that each time I go I find the demonstrater (?) is at lunch. Is there any way to say what time the demos will be allowing for a lunch time for the people who are doing the demo? The demos I have seen have been fun but hanging around with no idea what time the demo will be back isnt fun
Thank you

I have to agree - always between 1 - 2 pm is lunchtime. They always start at 10 and finish at 4 so it's roughly halfway and i find the afternoon 'session' is a repeat of the morning! AngelaClayton1

Hi, well as a Docrafts demonstrator I would like to say that I usually eat and chat to customers in my lunch break when I am at the Range, only leaving my table to nip to the loo in a quieter moment! I have had experience of customers ringing the store to ask what time I will be having lunch - not easy to predict as I can't stop mid flow with a lot of customers round the table. Most customers spend time looking at the products when I take a break! Christine Christine501 Docrafts designer West Yorkshire

Hi All,
I can't speak for everyone else but don't want anyone to be misled by maybe one experience, or oversight.
So here's my twopenn'th's worth LOL!
I've been lucky enough to demonstrate at 2 of The Range stores, and here, as elsewhere, as Christine says we normally take our break (which is 30 mins) when things quieten down, around 1pm to 2pm.
All demonstrators are different, but I never repeat the same cards in the afternoon, as I like to leave a varied selection at the store. I do leave the table for my break, but leave out a sign telling you when I'll be back, along with the demo cards, magazine, and CE flyers for you to browse through.
If you are stuck on a tight time schedule, then do ring the store, (certainly the smaller ones) we will always try and work round your timing if it's possible.
We really appreciate your support and would welcome any ideas and suggestions that will improve the Demo's for you.
That said, I look forward to seeing all that can make it during August. I've listed my upcoming demo's under a new post.

Hi there I have demostrated at several Range stores : Scunthorpe, Lincoln, Nottingham, Doncaster, Hull and Chesterfield and have never had any problem regarding lunch breaks. In my pre demo phone call I tell the store staff that I need to stop for 30 minutes at 1pm approx. as I am diabetic and need to eat. This lets the store know in good time and can in turn answer any customer queries. Also I never repeat in my demonstrations and also leave the last 45 mins for any queries or problems which customers have or processes they wish to see which have not been in a particular demo. Happy demoing everybody Ann x AnnCreasey
