Hi Fiona,

thanks for replying and the link, I have no idea how to use this forum yet and realise I'd had a reply as I don't know how to get an email notification sent!  anyhow,  the instructions are ok but doing that doesn't actually group the images together permanantly does it,  is there no way to do that?  I'm used to working in MCS and just assumed this programme would be similar!

many thanks

Hi Sandie, i don't think it groups them permanantly so that you can make changes if needed, sadly i don't use the DD very much as i find it too stressful, LOL, so i'm not quite sure what grouping them permantaly means, sorry  but  to get notified of a reply to you query if you go up to the top of your post and click on options then choose watch this topic (i think) it should email you when there's a reply or just keep checking. You may have to scroll your page to the right for it to come up.  There are some how to videos here but i'm not sure if they would answer your question on grouping.

Hi again Fiona,

grouping stuff together 'permantly' just means you can move the whole lot about resize the whole thing together and it just makes life easier,  its something that can be undone too, well in the other programme anyway,  its a shame that the function isnt on there,  I've had to take the images I want out of DD and put it into My Craft Studio to make life easier for me!!  kind of waste of time using DD really!!

thanks for trying to help though :0)
take care

Sandie, if you get your images etc on the page and then hold down left mouse key and scroll over it to create a blue capture box you can resize all the images within that box, hope this helps but knowing me i've got it wrong, lol. MCS is easier to navigate and usually end up using that rather than DD except for text in MCS, i can't get that right. I suppose nothings perfect. xx

Hi again Fiona,
thanks for the instructions to get the email notification, that works anyway!!  I tried all the usual tricks like what you just suggested, also you can just swipe everything and do it that way but it would be so much better if you could group everything and it stayed grouped!!  what probs are you having with the text on MCS as I find that much easier to use than DD too! maybe I can help you with that?

Thanks Sandie but i'll figure it out at some point, i like the way you can place it exactly where you need it (sometimes doesn't work in DD)  but just don't like the way it prints out in MCS and i struggle a bit with getting it the right size but to be fair, i'm too lazy  to get to know the programme, maybe if i actually take the time i'd be able to do it, too impatient and expect to be able to do things quickly without reading. LOL. Thanks for the offer anyway. xxx

ha ha ha,  you sound like me.... I NEVER read instructions or learn how to use things properly, I also use SCAL for my cutting machine and after 5 years am still discovering things that would have made my crafting SOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier!!  you're not alone!

well if I can help give me a shout, I'm no expert but have been using MCS for a long time,  agree with you about the print quality tho!
