I fear for some of these children who are not taking care while on this site. I hope they read the warnings.

I will be 37 years old this year, and I have been taken in TWICE by the same person on this site and goodness knows how many times on another site, I lost count in the end. There are a few people on this site who have met me, but NOBODY on here knows me!!! If a 36 year old woman, who holds down a responsible job can be taken in so many times, how can we protect our kids? Andrew and Thomas (my nephews) both trade atc`s, but only through me. None of us are safe in the cyber world.

Hi, Out of all the sites on Docrafts, I think this one should be monitored more. All the children on here are AT RISK. Even if their parents are monitoring there emails. How does the parent know who their child is chatting too, or giving out email addresses and home addresses too. This site is not SAFE and if I had little children, I certainly would not allow them on here. What safety proceedures do you have "Docraft", to protect the children who come on here. Are you going to take responsibility for a child on here if anything goes wrong ?

I'm 12 ( I know I really shouldn't put my age here but for the purposes of this message i did) and I feel really insulted by the way adults think that all kids are really stupid and would actually put any personal details on the internet, or meet someone they found on the net. Not everyone is that stupid. (p.s. sorry I put my age here.)

I would like to point out that no one has called the kids on here stupid. We are only worried that due to inexperiance some people may be laying themselves open to manipulation as the message above illustrates!!!!!

I Am A Child & Love Going On This Website But I Am Very Cautious About The Kind Of Things I Do On Here & I Also Only Speak To People If My Mummy Says I Can But Some Kids On Here Don't Take Care So For Other Kids Just Like Me Please Be Careful. I Would Hate For Someone To Get Hurt! From CutieEmily(Emily) xxx

I'm a kid myself, and it's disgusting the way people think we are just silly little children who do whatever we are told, and fall for everything someone else says.  BUT WE DON'T.  We probably understand more about the issue than most adults do, because we have been educated about this sort of stuff.  I asked my Mum whether i could join this website, and explained that their are risks, but she said that as ling as i was careful, and showed her anything that i thought was suspicious, then i should be able to keep myself safe.  It's sickening that people want to use an innocent craftsite for crafters of all ages, to do there sickening, disgusting acts.  IT IS SO WRONG.

Kinda sad, and kinda angry,

Hey,
I'm a kid- well, 16 and i think that it was very caring of you to post this message for the members that are younger (Even if it was years ago!) So 'missychookie' i don't think that you should be complaining really, because people are only looking out for you and your safety! I'm not saying that YOU'RE not mature enough, but other members might just need reminding to be safe online :)

Hi,  I'm a parent and worry about my childrens online activities, its NOT that i think they or any of you on here are stupid/silly but there are some very sick ppl about who will use anything to get you to give detils about yourselves, all we (oldies over 18) are trying to point out is that you need to use your common sense.

any person worth their salt WILL NOT give out any personal details online. Who knows who they are "chatting" to? The person could say they're a 13 yr old girl into HSM when in reality it is really a 56 yr old man who is NOT into HSM.

EVERYBODY has to be careful on ALL sites.

My ex got taken in by one of those stupid lottery scams but luckily I managed to redeem things by changing the bank account details as the stupid fool started to give them out in an email. Luckily I was able to react quickly but what if i hadn't or what if i'd been older/younger than I am? Would my instincts have kicked in so quickly?

Well Miss Chookie, no one on here has said that you or others are silly little children, I think it was necessary to warn children what can happen if you do give details to people you dont know, I could tell you I was a 16 year old and become friendly with you but how would you be able to tell who I  really was, ok you can check in my gallery but someone may not have anything in there's so thank you DC for warning CHILDREN on here of the dangers, dont forget Miss Chookie, some day you may be a Mum yourself  and look back here to your comments and you will realise us oldies DO know best, like your comment on a post recently dictating to older members what they should and shouldnt be doing, you didnt know the circumstances so I dont think you should have commented, also dont forget that we were children ourselves once and yes I think the majority of us would admit to saying we knew best..........but we didnt  xx
In just two days.......tomorrow will be yesterday......life is short......so don't count the days....make the days count.
