Passion for promarkers: New Challenge...

Posted on: Saturday, 4 February 2012
This card is for the Passion for promarkers New challenge. I decided to go for new baby, using a new house mouse stamp image.
coloured with promarkers

The papers are from the house mouse cd rom and the embelishments came from a magazine.

I recycled a sweetner box to make this faviourite things chest. I covered the box with dark purple card and some shoe and handbag paper by K and company.
The easle card on the top was a Mo digi of two friends, which i coloured in shades of pink and purple.
The lid of the box opens up to reveal a chest were you can put your faviourite things.

Wedding Card

Posted on: Thursday, 26 January 2012
Today's post is showing a wedding card i made, using the Tilda and Edwin wedding couple.
On the front, i matted lilac gingham and a flowery paper onto pearlescent lilac card. Both papers came from the polka doodles pretty sweet cd rom.

The sentiment was writen on the computer and then matted onto the pearlescent card. I also created a corner of lilac and white flowers and added a bead butterfly from a local sewing shop.
I added a heart buckle to the ribbon.

The insert was written up on my insert maker and printed onto ice silver cardstock.

The inside is like a frame, the image is printed onto card, coloured and then stuck, flat, onto the base, before punching out the chosen design onto pearlescent card. For this i used a Martha stewart flower border punch.

The two side borders are stuck on foam tape and then the top and bottom peices are stuck flat in the corners and on foam down the middle, creating a frame.
