Step by Step

1

On the purple card draw a big flower of 8 petals (25cm diameter) and cut it out. Leave 1 cm border and cut it out again for frame of your photo.

2

Cut 20 strips (3mm wide) from a blue sheet of the Colossal papers and cut the strips in half. Cut 39 strips (4 mm wide) from white card. Use these strips to make white and blue roses (see next step).

3

To make the roses start by twisting a strip and add a little adhesive to the centre. Keep on twisting the paper around this centre and glue the end.

4

Arrange your picture and the flower frame onto a 12 x 12 inch sheet of blue printed colossal paper (as shown on the photo). Glue the roses onto the frame with the tacky glue.

5

Draw 4 circles on the white card and cut them out. Rub the letters M and E from the Rub-ons onto the circles. Glitter the border of the letters with Silver Glitter Glue. Ink the edge of the circles with the Light-blue and Pastel Purple brush markers. Use the fine tips to dot them.

6

Use the Pastel Pink and Purple brush makers to write 25 on the other 2 circles and emboss with clear embossing powder. Add ink to the edges of the circles then add a little chalk.

7

Attach the letters and numbers to the right side of your page using 3D Foam Squares.

8

Punch 2 dragon flies and 2 butterflies from white card. Add colour to these shapes using the Whispers Brush markers and stick them on your picture.

9

Handwrite some journaling on the ‘petals’ of the flower frame.

'do crafts' Member - I'm Ana and I'm from Chiclayo, Peru. I came here 5 months after marrying my husband Kevin. I've been card making for 4 years whilst I was still living in Peru and mainly made cards using vellum. When I came here I saw the huge variety of materials tha shops have for cardmaking. I love cardmaking because it's so relaxing and you can be as creative as you want.
