Step by Step
1
Trim lined kraft card slightly smaller than an A5 card. Ink the edges and roll two opposite corners to add some aging. Back the rolled corner with scraps of one of the red papers from the Christmas Time paper pack. Glue centrally on a white A5 card blank.
2
Trim green paper from the Christmas Time pack to measure 16cm tall. Tear the left hand edge so that it measures 12.5cm wide. Ink the cut edges and add a dashed faux-stitched border with a white gel-pen. Glue towards the top right of the card.
3
Trim red patterned paper to measure 10.5cm by 14cm. Ink the edges and glue towards the bottom.
4
Plait together three lengths of gold Cousin ribbon. Secure on the reverse of the card and add a cardstock panel to hide the ends.
5
Sand the edges of the large robin topper. Distress the corners by rolling and folding. Position on the card as shown using 3D foam pads either side of the ribbon border.
6
Sand the edges of a greeting topper and layer onto white card. Trim to leave a very narrow border and mount on the card as shown using 3D foam pads.
7
Emboss the robin ‘stamp’ embossing folder onto red patterned paper. Sand the raised sections to highlight and trim to a rectangle. Layer onto white card and add to the card using 3D foam pads.
8
Trim photo-corner shapes from the coordinating patterned paper and layer onto white card. Trim to leave a very narrow border and position to the top right and bottom left hand corners of the card.
9
Finish the card with some adhesive stones from the Black and Gold collection to finish.
