DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Die-cut several of the flower shapes from scrap paper. Arrange across white cardstock using repositionable glue to hold in place.

2

Spritz over the whole page using a mix of colours. Once dry, peel back the shapes and discard.

3

Apply Burnt Umber Paint over some bubble wrap and press onto the right hand side of the page and to the far left hand side. Allow to dry.

4

Trim a strip of kraft cardstock and ink the edges with Chocolate Ancient Page ink. Spritz both ends and then apply to the right of centre.

5

Layer up two panels of patterned paper as shown and add a 6x4 photo on top. I sanded the edges of mine for some definition.

6

Staple lengths of brown, red and yellow organza ribbon across the page.

7

Spritz half a sheet of white cardstock as before and die cut several flower shapes. Die cut more using some plain kraft cardstock. Layer up the flowers and arrange to the left of the photos. Top off each flower with some white adhesive stones.

8

Apply cardstock stickers to spell out your title.

9

Hand write journalling onto a strip of lined kraft cardstock and glue to the top left of the page.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
