DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cover the round card with the red patterned paper from the paper pack.

2

Trim the spotty paper into a wavy line. Position over the circle covering about the top third of the card and trim flush to the edge of the circle card. Ink around the edge.

3

Apply a cardstock border sticker across the card, about a third of the way up.

4

Trim the sentiment panel from the vellum quote book. Glue onto cream paper using a glue stick and cut out. Shape the edges slightly upwards and ink around the edge.

5

Layer onto angel hair and trim to leave a border on each side. Position the panel centrally on the card.

6

Tie a decorative knot using cream satin ribbon and brown organza around the spine of the card.

7

Stamp the holly stamp using black ink onto the green paper. Cut some of the leaves apart and arrange in a group at the top of the pudding.

8

Add some red buttons as berries on top of the holly.

I have always been 'crafty' and while sitting with my gran when I was younger I admired all she did and said to myself that I wanted to create things like her. I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors. Can I make a mess ... You sure bet I can! I am a freelance designer for docrafts and enjoy creating projects for the Creativity! Magazine, Creativity! Club TV and demos.
