Step by Step
1
Emboss a square silver card blank using the embossing folder. You will need to emboss it in two parts. Start nearest the spine and then move the folder to emboss the part sticking out. You will be covering the join later!
2
Sand the mirror surface lightly to distress it slightly.
3
Trim Green snowflake paper to measure 10.5cm by 10.5cm. Ink the edges and doodle a border.Layer onto black card and trim to leave a narrow border. Glue centrally on the card.
4
Cut a border of the plaid paper and layer onto white card. Ink the edges and glue vertically on the card covering the embossed join.
5
Trim pink paper to measure 4.5cm by 8cm. Ink the edges, doodle a border and apply a large snowflake sticker towards the bottom, trimming any overhanging sections flush with the edge.
6
Cut a very thin piece of acetate and glue one end on the reverse of the panel at the top. Adhere the panel in place on the right hand side of the card using 3D foam pads.
7
Fold the acetate strip forward so that comes down in front of the panel.
8
Trim green paper to measure 5.5cm by 4cm. Ink the edges and add a doodled border. Adhere the ‘dancing on ice’ message using 3D foam pads.
9
Ink a flower lightly using green ink and add a button to the centre. Top off with an adhesive stone.
10
Attach to the end of the acetate to that it is positioned as shown.
11
Pop out and position the skating penguins on the left of the card.
12
Add a triangle collection of buttons, each topped off with an adhesive stone, to the top left corner to complete.
