This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Trim Sunshine Polka dot paper to measure 27cm by 25cm. Pinch the edges of the paper with your nails to bend them up slightly. Glue centrally onto the Tranquil Blue cardstock.

2

Repeat with Verde Floral paper measuring 25.5cm by 23cm. Add a couple of decorative tears on either side as shown. Glue centrally.

3

Repeat with Aqua polka dot cardstock measuring 12cm by 18cm. Glue towards the right hand side of the page as shown.

4

Trim Verde Candy Stripe paper to measure 28cm wide. Tear the bottom edge so that it measures about 10cm tall. Add a couple of pleats and roll the edge to add a distressed quality.

5

Glue across the page as shown.

6

Layer a 15.5cm by 10.5cm photo onto plain aqua paper (reverse of the Ornamental Flourish paper) measuring 17.5cm by 13cm. Add Sunshine Gingham paper strips to form a frame around.

7

Cut a tag shape from the plain aqua paper. Add corners of Ornamental Flourish paper. Add a ribbon bow at the top. Position alongside the photograph.

8

Trim some Butterfly shapes from the Sunshine patterned paper. Layer them up using 3D foam pads.

9

Arrange, along with some paper blooms along the bottom of the tag and photo. Add a row of gemstones on top.

I have always been 'crafty' and while sitting with my gran when I was younger I admired all she did and said to myself that I wanted to create things like her. I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors. Can I make a mess ... You sure bet I can! I am a freelance designer for docrafts and enjoy creating projects for the Creativity! Magazine, Creativity! Club TV and demos.
