Step by Step

1

Cut a strip of red card to measure 1.5x12”. Lay it flat and score from the left edge at 1”, 5” and 9” intervals. Cut the right-hand edge to a point to resemble a tag.

2

Cut red At Christmas Time Paper to ” x 4”. Ink the edges in red, then glue on to a strip of green patterned paper, leaving a narrow edge at the top and bottom. Adhere in place to the long red strip between the 5” and 9” score lines.

3

Punch two holes next to each other along the right hand edge of the patterned paper section and set a cream coloured eyelet in to each hole.

4

Cut a 2” square of cream card and layer on to green card. Stamp ‘Dad’ across the centre of the cream square and add three tiny green shimmer dots to the left of the stamped name. Attach the square to the left hand side of the eyelets using 3D foam dots.

5

Place a Papermania Magnetic Clasp on to the back of the long strip at the pointed end. Fold the strip in to place along the scored lines and add the matching magnet on to the underside of the strip to line up with the first magnet. Press firmly in place.

6

Open the strip and lay a folded napkin on to it, then fold the strip back in to position. The napkin will now be secure.

Hello, my name is Sheila and I am thrilled to be a ‘do crafts’ designer. I have been a keen crafter since childhood and now make my living from it. I demonstrate for docrafts and run my own craft groups and classes. I've have been making cards for approximately ten years and enjoy all aspects of creating and papercrafting. I like to spend lots of my time developing ideas and learning new techniques. Hopefully I will be able to share these with you and give you some inspiration when demonstrating all the wonderful products on offer
