DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Using the large sander from the file set on the cardstock, rub back the cardstock to reveal the core.

2

Choose your pictures and mat them onto patterned paper and ink the edges.

3

To make the felt scroll - place a template onto felt ( I used a chipboard piece ) and draw around and cut out carefully with scissors.

4

To make the title using the same scroll chipboard piece and draw the out line onto the paper, cut to shape. Add the sticker letters and the rub-ons

5

Glue down your patterned papers which I inked to add depth and photos and title and add felt scroll using a brad and glue

6

Cut out a butterfly from the Winsome sheet of Basic grey place it over rub-on leaves and then add the top title letters.

7

Add the journalling rub-on block in the corner and fill in details.

My name is Amber-Jane Harrop-Johnston. I am a 36 year old mother of two daughters , wife to one very understanding man and owner of one highly strung cat called Meg and live in Co. Cavan in Ireland. I have been scrapping for five years now and still adore playing with paper and glue just as much as when I started. When I am not scrapping I am learning as much as I can about my camera and taking pictures - my camera books are my new bedtime reading at the moment.
