DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Stamp the elephant in black pigment ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

2

Shade the elephant with the blue shimmer chalk.

3

Take the foam letters and shade them with the chalk too. Add to the card.

4

Add blue flowers attaching them with blue sugar coated brads.

5

Cut a rectangle of card slightly larger than the sentiment and round two of the corners using the corner punch, colour with blue chalks and layer the sentiment on top (also coloured at the edges with blue chalks.)

After I left school in the mid 1980’s I attended Art College where I studied graphics & media studies. I’ve had varied jobs in art studios, newspapers & print companies where I became a print sales representative. Becoming a ‘do crafts’ Designer is a thrill for me as I love the products quality & design. I enjoy meeting with and chatting to all the lovely people who come to my demos too.
