Step by Step
1
To make the charm dangle - Take a workable length of cotton cord and fold it in half leave approx 7cm loop and tie an overhand knot with both strands.
2
Thread on a silver bead, a Trinkets glass bead and another silver bead then tie an overhand knot in both strands again to secure the beads.
3
Thread on a grey pearl and knot again to secure then follow the same pattern as before a silver, a Trinket and silver bead.
4
To secure your light pull finish off with a double over hand knot and dab the knot with some clear glue for added security.
5
To make the Box topper - Take three equal lengths of cord, bearing in mind the extra you need for your knots. Hold the cords together and find the centre. At the centre point tie all three together with a double over hand knot. You should have a star like shape when you spread out your ends.
6
Thread on a smaller clear acrylic bead first then tie an over hand knot to secure the bead in place. Continue working down your length adding beads then knotting in place until you have your desired length.
7
Repeat step two for all the remaining beaded lengths, so you end up with six strands the same.
8
Tie double overhand knots as the last knot on your lengths to stop your beads falling off, then add a dab of clear glue for added security.
