Step by Step

1

Lightly ink the edges of an A6 cream card blank.

2

Trim black dot Bexley Black Capsule Collection paper slightly smaller and glue centrally.

3

Trim beige cardstock to measure 4.75cm tall and adhere across the card using 3D foam pads. Trim flush with the edge of the card.

4

Trim Lincoln Linen paper to measure 4cm tall and ink the edges. Adhere along the cardstock border and trim the ends flush with the edge of the card.

5

Twist lengths of black dot ribbon and adhere across using tiny dots of hot-glue.

6

Die cut a doorplate shape from beige cardstock using the Nesting Dies. Die cut a smaller size from Lincoln Linen paper. Ink the edges of each and layer together. Add dot detail using a white gel pen. Adhere as shown using 3D foam pads.

7

Emboss ‘Happy Birthday’ and trim each word to a rectangle. Lightly ink and arrange on to the panel as shown.

8

Die cut several scalloped circles from various Lincoln Linen papers. Layer and crumple the edges to make shabby chic flowers. Add gem brads to the centre of each and arrange to the left of the card as shown.

9

Tread beading wire through Cousin crystal beads and twist to make stems. Die cut several leaves and arrange around these and the beaded crystals around the flowers using hot glue to secure

10

Cut pennant shapes from Lincoln Linen paper and adhere top and bottom as shown.

11

Finish with accents of blue adhesive stones.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
