Cover a square card blank with dusk core’dinations cardstock, inking the edges with brown pigment ink and a cosmetic sponge for a soft effect. Stamp the top of the card with the swirl stamp form the Jesse Edwards stamp set with light brown ink (both from the rich rustics catseye queue).

Cover the bottom of the cardstock with a panel of brown polka dot paper. Cut the scalloped edge from white Papermania cardstock and fix over where the two papers join. Over this tie a length of red ribbon in a knot to the right hand side.

Stamp all the petals from the poppy stamp set onto core’dinations cardstock using black pigment ink and heat emboss using clear powder. Cut out and layer up, making sure the circles to the centre of the petals overlap, creating a pleasing effect. Use silicone glue to fix the petals, which can be shaped to achieve a more realistic look. Fix a brad to the centre of the flower, and cover with the final circular layer, the edges of which have been feathered using scissors. Fix black bugle beads to the layer.

Once dry, fix to the left hand side of the card as shown. Finally add a greeting to the bottom right to finish.
