Step by Step
1
Cut the 6x6 stepper cards into 3 equal sections (you will have a fold in the middle of one – use this for the back panel)
2
Trim 4.5” square of pink shimmer card and emboss with the heart pops at the bottom of the square.
3
Apply pink over the shimmer card to highlight the texture & embossed pattern. Brush gold metallic pigment ink over the top to highlight the uppermost layers of the embossing and provide pattern to the background above the hearts. Attach to the centre of the back panel.
4
Cover one 6x6” panel Parkstone Pink Patterned paper. In the reverse mark lines 1” all the way round & cut out the centre to create a frame. Ink the edges with pink and then brush round with gold. This will give tone and achieve a shabby chic, vintage appearance.
5
Attach the frame over the embossed panel using two layers of 3d foam for added dimension.
6
Ink 3 co-ordinating big bloomers in pink and gold as before. Glue together and attach a Parkstone Pink Blitter to the centre before sticking to the bottom right of the frame (be careful not to overlap the bottom of frame otherwise the picture card will not stand up)
7
Ink strips of darker Parkstone Pink paper and crumple to resemble creased ribbon. Attach behind the large layered flower to reach round the frame & top with tiny Blitters.
8
Add 3 Blitters to the top left hand corner & fashion blingy flourishes with pale pink adhesive gems.
9
Create 3d hearts by embossing patterned, shimmer & glitter paper. Cut out the larger heart layers and combine to make 3d heart embellishments. Attach to the picture inside the frame with 3d foam.
10
Finally die cut an easel from the remaining piece of 6x6” card and attach to the back of the picture frame for a stand up card and gift in one.
