Step by Step
1
Take a sheet of pink A4 textured card and trim to 21cm x 25cm to create your card base, scallop punch the bottom edges. Distress the card edges using the blade of your scissors.
2
Dry brush on some white acrylic paint along the edges of the pink card, allowing the pink colour to show through. When dry finish off the edges with some brown ink.
3
Trim pink paper from the Pampered Pets paper pack to measure approx. 11cm x 19cm. Distress the edges and edge with some brown ink. Adhere to the card base by sewing.
4
Using the blue sentiment paper from the Happy Birthday to You collectors pack, tear a piece so that it fits on top of the pink paper when position at an angle. Distress and ink the edges and stitch in place.
5
Cut a strip from the dotty patterned paper measuring 20cm x 3cm, snip out small “V” shapes at each end to create a banner, distress the edges and in.
6
Repeat the banner effect with a length of the blue and white stripe ribbon. Cu 3 different lengths and layer on top of each other for a tiered effect. Finish by making a bow for centre of the ribbon using the same ribbon; decorate with an embroidered brad in the centre and adhesive gems at either side.
7
Pop out 3 die-cut scalloped banners from the collectors pack. Punch holes on each side and feed onto some white organza ribbon to create a bunting effect, ink the edges and attach at the top of the card using 3D foam squares.
8
Decorate the centre bunting piece by layering some balloon doomed stickers and finish with a yellow gingham ribbon bow.
9
Punch approx. 16 petals from the coloured dot paper from the collection pack. Shape each of the flowers using the flower shaper tool. Ink the edges of each and layer 8 flowers together and join with blue pearl brads. Create 2.
10
Attach the flowers to the bunting sections either side of the centre piece.
