This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cut a piece of cream card to measure 9.5cm by 19.5cm Randomly stamp the lips stamp using the Cherry Red Whispers ink pad. Stamp the image up to three times before re-inking to give a faded effect to some of the lip stamps.

2

Stamp the Happy Birthday stamp to cover the whole piece of card. Keep the images horizontal but allow some images to overlap the edges of the piece of card

3

Stick the stamped piece of card to a piece of the black card. Trim to leave a narrow border on all sides. Repeat mounting on the red card. Mount the whole panel on the front of a tall cream card

4

Stamp and emboss the Party Wishes stamp using the black pigment ink and the clear embossing powder. Trim to 3cm by 8.5cm. Mount on a piece of red card measuring 5cm by 13 cm. Attach to the card at an angel using the tacky glue. Trim the edges of this piece flush to the edge of the card

5

Stamp the lips stamp 3 times, using the Whispers red ink pad, on a piece of spare card. Cut out and stamp the design on the other side to make them double sided

6

Tie a length of gold thread around the spine of the card attaching the lips to the ends of the threads so that they hang at different lengths

I am a Mum to four wonderfull boys. I work as a teaching assistant at our local primary scholl. I have been an avid crafter for many years and enjoy all crafts. I have been card making for about 18 months in my spare time (who needs to dust!) and have recently begun scrap booking - I am hooked! Carol xx
