Step by Step

1

Attach beading wire to a jump ring using a crimp bead to secure. Thread on three seed beads and a pair of smoke beads.

2

Thread on a Beadelle and two more smoke beads. Repeat this pattern, finishing with three seed bead before attaching to another jump ring.

3

Attach some more beading wire to the jump ring at one end. Thread on seed beads until it is the same length. Attach to the jump ring at the other end.

4

Cut the two types of chain to the right length and attach between the jump rings.

5

Finish with a clasp at either end.

I've joined up because I love beading and making jewellery - the design aspects and the craftsmanship. My background is in textile design and ever since I was a kid I've enjoyed crafting. I work full time in teaching. Over the years I've had a go at many many crafts, particularly textile based ones. I bought my first sewing machine out of my earnings from my first Saturday job and have sewn ever since. I enjoy interior design as well.
