DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

To make the badger card - Trim floral paper to measure 9cm by 14cm. Layer onto black cardstock and trim to leave a narrow border.

2

Assemble the decoupage and add a dashed border using a black gel pen. Layer onto black card and then mount centrally using 3D foam pads.

3

Wrap dotty ribbon around the top and bottom of this layer and secure on the reverse. Add a matching ribbon bow to the bottom piece and a petal flower topped off with a button on the top piece.

4

Trim spotty paper to measure 11.5cm by 16cm. Glue centrally on a 7x5” card and add a dashed ruler around the edge.

5

Glue the panel in place on the card.

6

Use Anita’s 3D Gloss to add shiny detail to the flower. Allow to dry thoroughly before handling.

7

To make the floral card - Trim leafy paper to measure 3cm by 19cm. Position towards the left hand side of a tall card.

8

Trim striped paper to measure 3cm by 16cm and layer onto black cardstock, trimming to leave a narrow border. Wrap ribbon around vertically and secure on the reverse. Glue in place on the card overlap the paper layer already in position.

9

Apply floral ribbon around the right hand side of the card front and secure on the reverse.

10

Punch three 2” circles and add a dashed border around each. Add a Capsule Petal to the centre of each and top off two with a polka dot button and one with a coordinating ribbon bow.

11

Use 3D foam pads to mount in a column as shown.
