DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cover the front of an A6 white card with red and white polka dot paper. Tear an 8cm wide strip of floral red patterned paper and mat onto red card. Layer through the centre of the card.

2

Die cut the card flowers from red and white cardstock using the Xcut Nesting dies and the Sizzix Big Shot. Layer up with adhesive roller and Stick It! 3D foam dots. Use a red and white polka dot flower for the second smallest size and then a Papermania Cranberry and Apple Capsule Collection Petals flower at the centre with a button at it’s centre. Layer to the top left of the card.

3

Stick two red Papermania Petals flowers to the top right and bottom left of the card with white polka dot buttons at their centres.

4

Apply Alphaminis red lettering to white card to spell your recipient’s name. Cut to a rectangle, mat onto red card. And layer with 3D foam dots at a jaunty angle. Stick red and white buttons (reverse of the polka dot ones!) in two rows of three each side of the name layer.
