Step by Step
1
To create a mask, stamp a ‘circle’, ‘for you’ and ‘brick wall postage’ stamp on to a sticky note, make sure as much of it is stamped where the sticky strip is on the reverse. This will ensure it holds on to the card for the technique. Cut each one out.
2
Stamp the circle stamp in the top left hand corner of the back of middle section of the stepper card, over lapping the edges with silver ink. Cover with clear embossing powder, shake off excess and heat with heat gun. Repeat this step for the ‘for you’ and ‘brick wall postage’ stamp adding them in different places on the card.
3
Place your masks over the corresponding stamped images. Stamp other images of these to cover the whole of the background. Using the masking technique as required.
4
Emboss a piece of kraft card with the ‘Happy Birthday’ embossing folder and cut to size of the front section.
5
Place masking tape around one of the ‘Happy Birthday’ to create a block. Ink with silver ink. Gently remove the masking tape and add clear embossing powder. Shake off excess and heat emboss.
6
Ink the top and bottom edge with silver ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
7
Cut strips of green capsule collection and edge with the leafy lace punch. Layer about an ink from the top. Adhere a length of silver ribbon along the top edge. Secure with staples.
8
Adhere to front of stepper card.
9
Stamp ‘with all my love’ image from the Botanical print urban stamps on to cream card. Trim to size and ink edges with green ink. Mat on black card.
10
Adhere to the front of the stepper card over hanging at the top on the left hand side.
11
Stamp on to the petals with silver ink and emboss. Place a pink flower through the centre of each one. Wrap the wire around a thin object to create a spiral. Attach to the left of the greeting.
12
Hold the card shut and adhere 5 mosaic gems on the back of the card along the right side of the greeting.
