Step by Step
1
Trim a piece of patterned paper to fit a tall latte card blank and mat onto light blue, then black card. Fix onto the latte card blank using black 3D foam pads.
2
Take a strip of square patterned paper and ink the edges with brown ink. Mount onto light blue and then black card. Stick a length of ribbon across the centre of the square patterned paper and attach to the centre of the card blank as shown using 3D foam pads.
3
Take a car outline sticker and adhere to a rectangle of latte card. Colour in using the watercolour technique and whispers pens (scribble colour onto a plastic surface, add water and pick up with a paint brush to add to your image). Add acrylic paints to the wheels and bumpers of the car, and Anita’s 3D clear gloss to the tyres. Complete with doodling and pricking to the latte card as shown.
4
Cut a small square of light blue card and cut from corner to corner to create two triangles. Mat onto black card and attach a brad in the centre. Fix to the corners of the latte rectangle as shown. Ink the edges of the latte rectangle and mat onto patterned paper and then black card. Stick the panel to the left hand side of the card as shown.
5
Cut a small rectangle from latte cardstock and ink the edges. Adhere the ‘boys and their toys’ outline sticker to the rectangle and mat onto light blue, then black card. Cut a slightly larger rectangle of patterned paper and trim the top corners with a mini circle punch. Simply put the paper half way into the punch and cut. Trim a slightly larger rectangle of black card and repeat. Mat the patterned paper onto the black card, and fix the greeting rectangle to this, as shown. Attach three brads to the top of the greeting and fix to the right side of the card to finish.
