Step by Step

1

For the base card, cut out a circle using the largest circle shape cutter and pink card. Fold in half. Pierce around the circle and draw the faux stitches with the white gel pen.

2

Punch out a border from blue cardstock and snip into the border so that it will flex. Apply tacky glue around the inside edge of the circle base and attach the border as shown.

3

Take the die cut pack and choose a pale blue topper. Ink around the edges with the pink chalk ink. Stick this to the top of the card.

4

To create the flower topper, use the smaller circle cutter to cut white card to shape. Create a frilly border as in step two. Attach around the outside of the circle topper.

5

Cut a smaller circle from a piece of Burleigh Blue paper and ink around the edges. Stick to the main topper and go around the edge with glitter glue. Leave to dry.

6

Glue two different shaped Big Bloomers onto the top of the circle topper.

7

Punch out a one inch circle from orange card. Rub around the circle with the end of the gel pen to round off. Stick to the centre of the bloomers and cover with glitter glue. Leave to dry, then mount the topper onto the card as shown.

Hi. I'm Jo and I'm delighted to be a designer for 'do crafts'. I have been crafting for many years, my interest starting with cross stitch and continuing onto card making around 5 years ago, recently being able to have some work published and winning competitions. I started with the shoebox of goodies like everyone does, and this has gradually taken over my house. I love card making and scrapbooking and can't wait to give you all an insight into crafting.
