DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Take a plain card and measure with a ruler 1.5 cm in from the left hand edge of the card. Mark this point with a pencil dot and then mark a soft pencil line vertically down.

2

Take a green coloured ribbon and place along this pencil line. Cut off the excess ribbon.

3

Place a different coloured sticky ribbon 5 mm away from your first ribbon, then again with a third ribbon in a pink.

4

Measure with a ruler, from the top of your card to the bottom and mark half way with a pencil, to the right of the ribbons in the space. This is the point where you can place 3 dome stickers in a row (with your buzzing bee in the center!). Stick 3 more above and below to create 9 little Summer stickers!

5

Take a Papermania yellow paper tag and place lots of little flower stickers within this.To attatch the tag to the card, get some foam tape and place one at the top of the card over the center sticky ribbon. Now, just attatch the string from the tag to this and to cover the foam tape, place a little flower sticker.

I have been with docrafts for over ten years and in that time, have tried many new crafts. I have been involved with the docrafts Creativity! magazine since its launch in 2003 and now work with some wonderful designers as the magazine editor.
