Step by Step

To make the centre flower thread 25cm of wire through five drop beads. Twist the wire to make two loops, as shown in step one, and trim. Attach a round black bead in the centre using wire.

To make the butterflies, cut 25cm of wire and thread four drop beads. Bend the wire in the centre so two beads fall on either side of the bead, then twist the remainder of the wire together, making a loop as shown in step two.

Thread two eye pins through a faceted bead and loop the ends. Thread wire through this bead and wrap the wire around the centre of the four wings, threading the wire through the twisted loop of the wings. Attach the end of the body wire to the necklace chain.

Cut two 30cm lengths of wire and thread them through the butterflies and flowers, adding a mixture of beads in between until your necklace looks like that in step four. Attach the chain. Using black and silver head and eye pins attach a mixture of beads to the chain and the toggle to the ends.
