Step by Step

1

Take a pink card blank. Open the card, and place the medium-size oval cutter evenly onto the right hand-side (front) of the card.

2

With a pencil, mark the uppermost and lowest points on the oval shape, so that there is a natural line from the top of the oval to the fold in the card, as shown in finished card. Cut the oval shape into the body of the front of the card, stopping at the pencil marks you have made. Cut to finish, joining the tops and bottoms of the oval with the tops and bases of the card.

3

Using the green marker, edge the oval shape and line, up to the fold of the card.

4

Cut a full oval shape using the medium size shape from the swirly green and white paper from the Spring Burst paper pad. Ink the edges with pink marker. Attach to the oval on the front of the card blank leaving a border and tuck around the fold of the card.

5

Attach to the oval on the front of the card blank leaving a border and tuck around the fold of the card. Secure to the card using the adhesive runner, leaving the front of the card and the oval shape loose.

6

Take the butterfly punch and carefully punch 3 butterflies around the edge of the oval, punching through both the paper and the card. This will now be an effective combination of butterfly shapes. Carefully fold and place the 2 layers as desired.

7

Take the diagonal striped paper and cut a square out of the middle of the sheet, to capture the centre of the pattern. Fold so that the centre point is in the fold of the card blank. Trim, leaving only a narrow edge on the left inside of the card, and around 1 cm to the right. Stick down the left edge and leave the right side loose.

8

Trim a 1cm wide length of pink card from another card blank, using a wavy blade on one side as shown. Edge with rhe green marker. Stick firmly to the left hand side of the front of the card.

9

Choose your greetings from the Glitterations and colour in the words and some of the candle shapes with a purple permanent marker. Place on the card as shown.

10

Finish the card by adding Glitterations borders down either side and adding adhesive stones where desired for extra sparkle!
