This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cut wire to measure 6 inches. Fold in half and thread through an earring finding. Thread both ends through and crimp bead, sliding it to the top of the wires. Use flat nosed pliers to squeeze the crimp flat.

2

Thread both wires through a metal melon followed by a pearl.

3

Next thread on another metal melon and then take one strand of wire and thread it back through the bead from the top of the melon to create a loop, repeat with the other strand and pull to desired size of loop. Thread a pearl on to both skeins.

4

Repeat Step 3 once more.

5

Thread on a Crimp and then make another two loops as before but this time threading back into the crimp. Squeeze the crimp shut and carefully trim off ends.

6

Repeat all for other earring

I have always been 'crafty' and while sitting with my gran when I was younger I admired all she did and said to myself that I wanted to create things like her. I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors. Can I make a mess ... You sure bet I can! I am a freelance designer for docrafts and enjoy creating projects for the Creativity! Magazine, Creativity! Club TV and demos.
