Step by Step
1
To make the box - Cover a Papermania Bare Basic Rectangular Box in green plain paper around the sides. Cut narrow strips of leaf-patterned paper and draw green dashed lines along the edges. Glue around the rim of the lid. Cut a rectangle of more green paper slightly smaller than the top of the lid, then a leafy patterned paper slightly smaller again. Layer up and draw more doodle dashed lines around their edges.
2
For the picture, cut a piece of spare white card to 7.5cm x 11.5cm and mat on to green paper. Place the die-cut birdhouse image from the embellishment pack to the right side, gluing the post in place and using 3D foam dots behind the birdhouse and bird. Cut out the gate and gatepost with bird and stick to the left side. Use a coloured die-cut heart at the centre of the gate, attached with 3D foam squares. Stick a row of three floral motifs to the bottom right, beside the gate and overlapping the post, and attach with 3D foam dots.
3
Stamp the frame in black ink on to white card and cut out with a craft knife, including the centre of the frame. Mount on to green paper. Colour the frame with coloured pencils and decorate the corners with lilac adhesive stones
4
Stamp a greeting from the stamp set on to the frame. Surround with two die-cut flying birds and add adhesive stones to the centres of the floral motifs.
5
To make the card -
Cover the left side of an A6 card with patterned floral paper. Cut a 1cm strip of pink plain paper and align beside. Cover the right side of the card with plain lilac paper. Cut a 3mm wide strip of purple paper and position parallel to the inner edge of the lilac paper at the centre of the card.
6
Hand cut a scalloped strip from plain green paper and place vertically, overlapping the patterned and pink coloured paper. Round the corners of the card and doodle a dashed line in purple pen around the edges and down the green and purple strips.
7
Cut a piece of purple paper to measure 5.5 x 7.5cm. Round the corners and mat on to white cardstock, leaving a very narrow border. Draw a doodle dashed line around the purple paper edge in purple pen. Layer a die-cut bird design on to the centre with 3D foam dots. Layer the rectangle to the top of the card with more 3D foam dots
8
Position the die-cut banner below, adding a floral motif to each side. Add some adhesive stones to the centres of the motifs, the corners of the purple rectangle and three vertically in a column to the top right of the card to complete.
