This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Trim a piece of Papermania white scalloped cardstock slightly smaller than the front of a brown square card blank, but do not stick down as yet. Cut red patterned paper to mount onto the white scalloped cardstock, leaving a small border, inking the edge with brown ink before fixing.

2

Trim green patterned paper to measure 12 x 3.5cm, ink the edges with brown ink and stick to the bottom of the red patterned paper as shown. Also cut green core’dinations cardstock to measure 4.5 x 9.5cm and fix to the right of the card.

3

Attach a length of burgundy ribbon over the green core’dinations cardstock, looping the end underneath the white cardstock for a neat finish, Trim the other end into a fish tail. The whole panel can now be fixed to the front of the brown card blank if you wish.

4

Take a rectangle of white cardstock measuring 10 x 6cm and using the rub on tool, rub-on the embossed transfer. Use a brown permanent pen to darken the green shimmer dots to perfectly co-ordinate with the colours in your design before randomly fixing to the image. Stamp your greeting to the bottom right of the image and draw a free hand border around the transfer using a fine line pen. Fix as shown to the card blank using 3D foam pads.

5

Add a pricked border to the bottom and right of the main image panel . Finally, add green shimmer dots, again darkened with a brown permanent pen to the scallops of the white cardstock.
