Step by Step

1

Cover the fronts of a square gatefold card with red patterned paper. Trim green patterned paper to measure 7cm wide and glue to the two halfs of the card front towards the top.

2

Trim the silver cardstock to measure 5cm wide. Adhere towards the bottom of the card.

3

Apply lengths of the couture trim at the bottom of the card. Securing on the back and inside the card. (Cover the inside of the card to hide the ends)

4

Stamp the shop scene twice onto cream card, and again onto a selection of patterned papers and cardstock.

5

Cut out the whole scene from Cream cardstock. Cut out sections of the store from the various patterned papers and cardstock. Using different papers for the shop windows, the store canopy and the doors, glue into place.

6

Use smooch inks to paint the remaining details to give a shimmering look. Use rich festive shades to suggest a Christmas display.

7

Trim the store front in half and glue on either side of the gatefold card.

8

Stamp the shopper stamp onto cream card and a selection of papers. Trim the shopping bags from the papers and glue into place over the plain stamped image.

9

Use smooch inks to colour the rest of the design. Position the shopper in front of the store.

10

Apply the embossed transfer spelling ‘Merry’ at the top of the card. Apply transfers spelling ‘Christmas’ onto red patterned paper. Trim to leave a narrow border and apply at the bottom of the card.
