DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cut a square of patterned paper from the retro collection, and mount onto a slightly larger piece of black cardstock leaving a small border. Trim a piece of pink swirls acetate to the same size as the patterned paper and fix using an adhesive dots roller. Put the adhesive where the strips of paper will be fixed.

2

Cut three rectangles of de-bossed cardstock and lightly apply ink to the surface using a cosmetic sponge. Apply complementing glitter to the circles on the de-bossed cardstock using 3d gloss. Mount on to black cardstock leaving a small border. Stick to the card, using a combination of the adhesive dots roller and 3D foam squares.

3

Colour a chipboard oval frame with orange permanent pen and apply glitter. Fix ribbon to the frame as shown and stick to the card, attaching the ends of the ribbon underneath the black card, then fix to a light pink card blank. Fix letters to spell ‘Hi’ in the frame.

4

Cover a wooden flower with glitter and attach an adhesive stone to the centre of the flower. Affix to the frame as shown.

5

Finally, add adhesive gems to the panels to finish.
