DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Trim the pink patterned paper to measure 7.5cm by 13.5cm. Ink the edges and glue to the right hand side of an A6 card blank.

2

Attach organza ribbon and glitter trim across the card securing behind (use a panel to hide the reverse.)

3

Apply the flourish outline stick to the left hand side as shown in the photograph.

4

Take a round brad back from the Brad Making Kit and press onto the copper pigment inkpad. Dip into the copper embossing powder and knock off the excess. Using tweezers to hold the brad, use the heat tool to melt the powder.

5

Punch a circle from the same patterned paper. Ink the edges and glue on top of the brad back. Add the clear sticker on top.

6

Apply the brad to the card where the sticker bisects the ribbons. Use a pokey tool to make a pilot hole first.

7

Apply the sticker greeting onto white card. Trim to a rectangle and tucking the corner behind the brad, use 3D foam pads to fix to the card.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
