Step by Step
1
Cut gumdrops paper to measure 4 x 12 inches. Mark at 6 inches.
2
Fold the paper into the 6 inch mark as though you were making a paper aeroplane. Open and then fold in the other direction. You will be left with a diamond shape.
3
Pull one of the ends right over the diamond so it is in line with the furthest point of the diamond. Fold then open.
4
Pull the same end in line with the nearest point of the diamond. Fold and open. Repeat these on the other side.
5
To close push the small triangles inwards, pull the ends out and gently press to flatten. On each end add some red scallop frills, cut off excess.
6
Adhere a 1 inch strip of red dotty paper and a length of ribbon.
7
Mount a Christmas icon on to a 2.25 x 2.25 inch of red serenade card stock and mount again on to green card stock. Adhere to the centre of the diamond.
