Step by Step
1
Trim beading wire to measure a little longer than you want your finished necklace to be. Trim a second length slightly longer.
2
Taking the shortest strand, thread on a small clear bicone, a black pearl, a larger clear bicone, another black pearl and another small bicone. Secure either side with a crimp bead so they are in the centre of the strand.
3
Thread on and squash another crimp bead to one side of the central beaded section so that it is approximately 3.5cm from the last crimp bead. Thread on a small bicone, a black seed bead, a larger bicone, a black seed bead and another small bicone. Secure on the other side with another crimp bead.
4
Thread on and squash another seed bead approximately 4.5cm from the previous section. Thread on a black seed bead, a small bicone and a black seed bead. Secure the other side with another crimp bead.
5
Secure the end of the wire to one of the loops of the double loop toggle clasp with a crimp bead.
6
Complete a mirror image of beading for the other half of the strand.
7
Repeat this technique on the longer strand with a mixture of small and large bicones and black seed beads.
8
Attach this strand as before to the other loop on the double loop toggle clasp.
