DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cut cardstock panels as shown in the video and round the corners of the two smaller pieces.

2

Trim patterned paper from the Little Cake Shoppe collection slightly smaller and glue in place onto each panel .

3

Add some diecuts and message to the two panels. Glue the two panels to the h-shape as shown in the video with the rounded edges furthers away from each other. (One panels needs to be glued on face down so that they both ‘point’ the same way when you pull the tab).

4

Assemble the card and staple some ribbon at the bottom of the panel nearest the cut notch.

5

Trim some contrasting card to measure 9.5 by 12.25cm. Cut a notch in the bottom with a circle punch. Add a rectangle of the patterned paper with the large cake images on top of this.

6

Staple some ribbon towards the bottom of the panel and add a die-cut greeting at the top.

7

Glue the panel on the front of your card to complete.
