Step by Step
1
Stamp ‘Dad’ on to blue Core’dinations Cardstock using black ink and emboss using the mini polkadots Papermania Embossing Folder and Sizzix Big Shot Machine. Sand the dots for a distressed effect and put to one side.
2
Cover a small notebook with green paper and add brown cardstock to the bottom. Stamp ‘Dad’ on to the green paper using brown ink, using the double stamping technique; Ink the stamp with your chosen ink, then stamp on to scrap paper. Now stamp on to your paper, making a lighter stamped image. Hide the join between the two papers with blue stitched ribbon.
3
Make a tag from light brown card, crumple and ink the edges. Make an eyelet hole and use a hole reinforcer to cover. Add Cousin Hemp Cord to the hole. Stick the stamped word to the tag, and fix to the front of the notebook with 3D foam squares. Add a hand-drawn border to the edge of the tag.
